Popularly known as the second most popular trekking destination in Nepal. The region is popular not only due to its proximity to the world’s highest mountain (8848m) but also for its ever-smiling hardworking Sherpa people, unique settlements and age-old monasteries.
Jiri is situated about 188 km. far from Kathmandu. It is the starting point of our trek to the Everest region. The people of Jiri are called the Jirels, a subgroup of the Sunuwars whose language is more or less similar to Sherpas. In this trekking, the foot path is continueing up hill the day of Sete. It is for 2 half day, the meaning of this "first day after lunch climb to Sete and next day until abou lunch time.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport , transfer to hotel,short briefing about the treks.
Day 02: Kathmandu drive to Jiri(1905m/5768ft) - 6 hours.
Day 03: Drive to Shivalaya(1767m/5350ft) by bus - 7:30 hours.
Day 04: Trek to Bhandar(2194m/ 6507ft) - 5:30 hours.
Day 05: Trek to Sete(2573m/ 7791ft) - 6 hours.
Day 06: Trek to Junbensi(2675m/ 8099ft) - 6 hours.
Day 07: Trek to Taksindo(2971m/ 8996) - 5 hours.
Day 08: Trek to Khari khola (2050m/ 6207ft) - 5:30 hours.
Day 09: Trek to Payu(2939m/ 8899ft) - 6 hours.
Day 10: Trek to Phakding (2610mtrs/8563ft) 5 hours.
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft). walking 5:30 hours.
Day 12: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar. walking 5 hours.
Day 13: Trek to Tengboche(3860m/12664ft). walking 5 hours.
Day 14: Trek to Dingboche(4410m/14468ft). walking 5:30 hours.
Day 15: Acclimatization day at Dinbuche. walking 4:25 hours.
Day 16: Trek to Lobuje(4910m/16108ft). walking 5:30 hours.
Day 17: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5363m/17595ft) and back to Gorekshep(5153m/16906ft). walking 7:30 hours.
Day 18: Hiking up to Kalapathar(5545m/18192ft) and overnight at Pherbuche(4210m/13812ft). walking 6 hours.
Day 19: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft). walking 6:30 hours
Day 20: Trek to Lukla(2840m/9317ft). Walking 6:30 hours.
Day 21: An early morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
